- Adolescents who consume alcohol and binge-drinking adolescents are five times more likely than non-drinkers to say that they have driven under the influence of alcohol in the past year.
- Alcohol also may interfere with normal sperm structure and movement by blocking the metabolism of vitamin A, which is essential for sperm development.
- Excessive alcohol use has immediate effects that increase the risk of many harmful health conditions.
